Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Current Executive Chairman of Club Logistics Services, Stuart has been in the automotive business for over 30 years beginning in 1977 when he managed the family’s business, the Australian Battery Company. The company specialised in wholesale and retail automotive batteries, quickly expanding across Australia until being sold in 1995. In 1991, the family business diversified into Club Assist supporting Motoring Clubs. Stuart headed up many different departments during the early years and moved to North America for two years to lead the North American expansion in 2001. Stuart was promoted to CEO of Club Assist in 2006. Club Assist began with the determination to provide the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) members with the best battery replacement service available. Since then, Club Assist has enjoyed growth through their relentless drive to improve the service experience for stranded members of 68 Motoring Clubs worldwide. In 2017, Stuart sold his shares in Club Assist and took 100% ownership of the European division, Club Logistics Services.
Bert Stellinga
Managing Director
Bert has worked in the automotive industry for 20 years, as MD of multinational companies in the tyre industry for 13 years, last at Continental, growing a business through investments and development of teams in supply chain, marketing, IT and logistics. Bert holds a degree in international marketing and has lived and worked in the U.K. for six years whilst running the local organization for Dutch tyre manufacturer Vredestein. Recently studied at Insead University in Fontainebleau as well as IMD Lausanne.
Melvyn Haring
Manager Supply Chain & IT
Since joining CLS in 2019 to assist with the establishment of the ebike battery division, Melvyn has held a number of roles within the company. Through his advanced education and work experiences, Melvyn processes a broad knowledge of the battery industry, digital marketing, and sales.
Richard Groen
Business Analyst Finance & Operations

Richard joined joined Club Logistics Services in 2015 in the role of Financial Accountant. In 2018 Richard changed roles to assist the business as a Business Analyst Finance & Operations
